DESCRIPTION:*****This Event Has been Canceled*****   \n  \nDATE: Thursday\, May 29th \nLocation: @ Holistic Wellness & Detox Center \nFrom 8:30 am to 11:00 am drop off items at the Holistic Wellness Center for Tom Stevens\, of Sharper Edges\, to sharpen\, and give Tom your cell phone number. \nAfter 11:00 am\, Tom will be concentrating on sharpening in order to give you Sharper Edges. Tom will text or call you when your items are complete and you will return to pick them up later the same day. Please bring items wrapped in a towel or market bag so Tom can easily keep things organized. \n  \nA RSVP is required to bring your items\, and the RSVP is limited to 25 residents. There is a maximum of 5 items per RSVP\, with a minimum of 3 items.\n \nContact Tom Stevens Sharper Edges (208) 639-2926  \nshaperedgeslowcountry@gmail.com \nItems sharpened: \nKnives\, scissors/shears (both household/fabric/industrial and stylist/groomers)\, and garden implements (clippers\, short bladed loppers\, etc.). If you are on the waitlist and a spot becomes available\, you will be notified. \nPricing: \nPricing is variable as Tom will need to view the items. However\, here is the general idea: \nKitchen knives average about $15 each\, though it varies with length\, condition of edge\, broken points\, etc. \nGarden clippers and short bladed loppers range from $5-$20+\, again dependent upon condition of edge\, length\, etc. \nHousehold scissors approx. $10-15+\, stylist/grooming shears $35+. \nBring your items and Tom will assess them. \n  \nCash\, Checks and Credit Cards are accepted – Cash is king. \nDull edges are dangerous\, – you have to work too hard to cut\, and may slip – ouch! So\, we want you to have happy\, sharper edges. \n  \nTom’s background information: \nTom has been hand sharpening his own\, and family/friend’s\, knives since he was 13 years old. He was\, and is\, really quite good at it\, now he has advanced to a nifty belt sharpening system\, and he is at a whole new level! He has been doing Sharpening Events and Farmers Markets on Hilton Head Island \, Bluffton\, and Port Royal since 2020\, getting great results\, and many repeat customers.
